Admin Settings

LinkEX has much more attributes and options than you were presented during the installation. Usually the defaults will work for your site, but you may wants to configure LinkEX a bit differently.
When you log in to LinkEX, click the Settings menu link to see all the options.
The elements of the Settings page will be explained below.

Admin settings

This section configures the administration interface, what you see when you log in.
Username, Password, Password (again) is what you use to log in with. If you leave the Password and Password (again) blank, no changes will be made to your password.
Email is the email address to where notifications are sent.
Date format is the format used to display the dates in the administration interface. To change this have a look at the different format under the PHP date() function.
Charset is used to define the charset used in all the HTML pages in LinkEX.
Display limit defined the number of elements to display in the admin pages.
Default sort key/order defines how the links are sorted in the admin page.
Disable public form check this to close the form.
Show email display your email on the public forms.
Use CAPTCHA enabled an image verification to the link form. People must enter the text displayed in the image before the form is accepted.
