Hey
im changing my sites from one server to another, and id like to know if thers a way i can backup and restore the
instalation from one host to the other. so far i done it by hand but its taking a lot of time and it just sucks. i tried
to download and re upload the files and use the same file permissions and the htacesses, it worked but didnt looked not
much right (i.e. i had to chmod links directory to 777 in order to add links). im using the last version of linkex i
guess the one about 192kb in size

Sorry for the late answer :(

LinkEX is portable, meaning you can download the whole folder and re-upload it to the other server.
There could be issues with the permissions, since different servers is setup differently.
On some servers you really need the folder and the files to be 777 for folders and 666 for files.

Let me know if you still have problems, so we can get them resolved.
