LinkEX

I have moved server and reinstalled Linkex on new server.

I have backup of all folders from old server, but my FTP client cant transfer the old files to linkex/data/links/ on new
server.

Is there a way to re-create my old link DB from the installation on the old server?

Hi,

I assume you were using the lastest version of LinkEX.
Moving the LinkEX folder from one server to another _should_ be no problem. All internal path are relative.
The only thing I can think of is the permissions, which can be very different on two different servers.

You need to make sure the permissions is so LinkEX can create files in the folders, and are able to read & write to
the files allready there.
If in doubt you should ask your new hosting provider, since they should know what to set them at.

oh sorry, the reason why properly cannot read/get the files is because of the permissions of them. They are set so only
the webserver can read them, and you're properly ont the same user as the webserver.
