Hi,
Tried to play with the auto add thing but can't quite work out how to do 3 ways -- sometimes it works, sometimes it
doesn't.
Am i meant to put under general settings the url i want it to make for me (ie on the other site im linking with), and
the url it can find the link back from on the url on the auto add page? (if that makes sense)
thanks

hey ash.
Since the documentation is not very good on this, I'll explain how the auto-add works:
In the form under auto-add you see:
URL - This is the URL on your site, where the links are posted. eg. if you include the output file on index.php you
should enter http://www.yoursite.com/ or if you includes the links on my-links.php then you enter
http://www.yoursite.com/my-links.php
Categories: Select which categor(y|ies) the links should be added to
Link Sites: All the URLs you have harvested with LinkEX, LinkXXXhange and AxsLinks. Enter the complete URL to the script
and one pr. line.
Now when you hit the button, LinkEX will do this:
Foreach line with URL to a tradescript,
* fetch the page and analyse it to find the linking details.
* Create a new link in your LinkEX and add it the the categories you selected.
* Enter your details into the external link form, using the URL as the "linking URL" on the external site,
and otherwise the details from the admin, like email, description and title. If you have multiple Website titles, LinkEX
will use a random one for each site.
That's it.
I'm not sure what you mean about the 3 ways?

Hi
ok thanks. by 3 way i mean something like this... (i mean 3 way as in a 3 way on pages, not a typical 3 way (involving 3
seperate sites (domains))
say i have mysite.com set up, and i put the linkex codes on friends.php (so their links show up on friends.php).
i have a list of a couple of linkex installations i want to use linkex on, but rather than have it link back to
friends.php (where my linkex is set up on the site to be shown), i want it linking to mysite.com/ (ie the
"index" page). can you do it like this? or is the URL the one that is used on the other site for where you
want the link back to (from their site) and where the recip link on your site can be found (to their site)? (if that
makes sense?)
thanks
