When i make any changes in the admin area nothing saves. It was working fine before I dont know what is causing this. I
tried changing all directory settings to 777 but it still doesnt save. Does anybody have any idea as to what i should
do?

I reinstalled linkex and it seems to be working fine now, thought I still am not sure whats caused the problem. I am not
in search of a solution anymore but if anyone has any ideas as to why that happened it would be helpful so that I do not
do it again.

hey, it really does sound like a permissions issue. strange thing is that it started working again after a reinstall.

I'm still working on a good solution for the whole permissions issue.

I didn't repost but after I reinstalled it, it worked fine but only for a little while. Now it is back to not saving the
changes. Fortunately I change got all my setting right before it stopped saving changes.

is it only the settings? links and categories are updated fine?

I get this error when trying to add a new category [Fatal Error: Unable to write to UID file]
And When I try to change the settings I dont get an error but none of the changes I made actually change. Adding and
editing links works fine.
