Bugs » autoadd issue

added on Feb 1, 2008 by sven
I've installed LinkEX on a few domains but I cannot make the autoadd function working.
- Uploaded the index.php into a folder named linkex
- CHMOD folder linkex 777
- launched index.php
- filled the mandatory fields (user/pass/title/email)

I was able to add some external trades into the fresh installation (v.20071229) using the autoadd function.
However, It fails with my other fresh LinkEX installations (no status between the brackets).

sexperminuut.c [ linkex ] [ ]

the error log shows:
[01-Feb-2008 14:50:42] PHP Notice: Undefined index: username in /<path-to>/linkex/index.php on line 3664

I am able to manual add entries to these fresh installations.

Do I need to take some additional steps ?
Do I need to CHMOD other files ?

cheers,
sven

I have noticed these empty bracket too. I'll look into what's wrong.
If you are able to add the links manually, it's not a permissions issue, but rather some issue while the two scripts are
communicating.

I'll have a look at the code which does the autoadd, since there are other issues with handling eg. max. allowed title
and description and such.

Thanks for letting me know about it! I appreciate the feedback

Fantastic work v0id,

You must have at least a million things to do!

Well, I had the exact identical problem as sven.

Good Luck!
