Feature requests » re: Linkex bad for SEO

I read that Linkex is bad for SEO. However I will only use linkex as an easy way of adding links to my site and will not
have a "add your site link" or encourage others to add their link by any other means. Will this have any
effect on wether "G" penalises my site or not.

hey max,

that's a nice advice, and when the next release is finally done, you have an option to disable the html comment in the
output file, you know the <!-- output generated by LinkEX -->
That combined with your advice, perhaps even combined with a robots.txt that disallows robots to your linkex directory
will greatly help against a penalize

Anybody else have a comment/idea on how not to be penalized?

I don't understand how Google would penalize people using a script to link, to other sites?
Many people are using this script. Not one person has proved that google has or will do this and to whom. What would
be the point, they would have to ban millions of people. I don't think there going to do that.

How exactly will hurt a person SEO?

I do all my linking manually but it takes forever and I am amateur web person.
So what is the solution if it's going to cause problems?
