I would like to see the following database
1. Database of persons seeking link exchanges.
2. The database should have standardized categories.
3. It should be in Excel Format so it may be easily sorted
4. It would need a utility for mass import.
5. A way to delete non-linking websites automatically after
a pre-set time period 5-10-30 days or other.
This would be very useful if a webmaster could download
a batch of emails, EASILY AND QUICKLY, insert them in
his website.
Then, send webmasters on the list, an email asking for a link
exchange, giving a reasonable time, of 5-10-30 days or longer to comply
with a reciprocal link.
This would greatly enhance the value of LINKEX.
A great deal of time is expended creating the reciprocal link
on a website, IN ADVANCE, of using a LINKEX enabled website.
This improvement would allow a very quick buildup of
a large database of usable links, get the website up and
running, drawing traffic, and a way to clean off free-loaders
quickly after a reasonable period of time.
Having Standard Categories would enable
1. A later improvement of putting links in the SAME numbered
category on all websites. This is a major time waster.
and would make LINKEX much more valuable to users.
2. Allowing different types of websites to use the same
database of link exchange volunteers. A webmaster would
see, not only his needs, but other types of websites that
he could link to to increase traffic, by changing his
website, slightly, to increase traffic.
