Feature requests » Edit text in the form

added on Jul 13, 2009 by Jin
Hello, first of all. thanks for making this wonderful script. i have no problems with its usage and functions.

But how do I edit the default text in the form? I would like to personalize some of it and add more clear instructions.

When I try to edit the index.php, it doesn't make changes because its calling the file from a user called 99 in ftp.
plsssssssss help. I appreciate having the Linkex links everywhere, but we should be able to edit other things.

You can edit some of the top display text in the "settings" section.

There are few problems with editing the page too much. Some programs depend on
things being in a certain place, and look for certain keywords to function.

And when people go to your linkex page they expect to see a linkex page. I don't think
people really care if it matches your site or not.

Any changes would have to be made to the PHP code, meaning special characters need to
be escaped with a backslash and all that, so it's not easy to do.

And adding a bunch of rules is worthless. People won't read them and you will just
frustrate yourself and get all stressed over them not "obeying", it's not worth it.
