Feature requests » Mass Add: How to Add Links

added on Mar 17, 2012 by mike
Here is how you can use the Mass Add feature.

First, login to the script and navigate to Tools / Mass Add

Now, let's say you have a list of URLs that you want to import that look like this:

Anchor Text Example http://www.example.com

Notice that the the separator between the anchor text and http: is a space. This is important.

In the Input Separator field, type s+

For your information, s+ represents a space.

For the Input Fields, add Site Title and Description

Select your categories.

In the input field, type:

Anchor Text Examples+http://www.example.com

Click OK

Oh NO! The forum has stripped out part of the code for the space.

It is not just s+

It is supposed to be forwardslashs+

Note, forwardslash is different than backslash (forwardslash goes up down from the left}

Look at the field marked input example, you'll see it.
