Unable to create directory "/home/xxx/domains/xxx.nl/public_html/linkex/data/backup/"

I have chmod the folder linkex to 777. What is wrong?

Could you please tell me what folder you have under /home/xxx/domains/xxx.nl/public_html/linkex/
and if possible what permissions they have?

Thanks

How about if you change the permissions on the data folder?

755 is maximal possible on that map

Then you need to delete the data folder, since it's properly owned by the web server, create the data folder again, and
the directories listed above.

Done converting blacklist

"all the links"

Done converting links
Done converting configfile

and then there is happining nothing?

What browser are you using?

From what it looks like, the upgrade should have been successful.
Try goto /linkex/ now

there is no map "now"

what? :)

Point your browser to the linkex folder, just like you were logging in

Upgrading LinkEX

I have to fill the username and password again!

I'm glad!!

I used to think permissions on UNIX was awesome, but for some reason I'm starting to think they are a bitch :)
