LinkEX

Hello,

I am considering to use LinkEX on my site, but what I want to know, and haven't found yet is:
If it is possible to show te "Site description" on my website.
I would link to show the description next or below the link to the linkexchange partnerwebsite!

Sure thing.

There is a template variable: {$DESCRIPTION}
it'll show the description of the link.

Thanks for the reply. In the next week I will try to install LinkEX.

But there are still a couple of things that worry me: I read something about the security aspect, other people could
read the linkex.dat file with all the links and edit it. And second, maybe not so important, but the deletion of the
complete database after installing an automated update of LinkEX. Is there a solution for those two items?
