Hi there,

I am trying to install Linkex release "20070124" on our website, but I get this error:
Unable to create directory "/home/user/domains/domain.com/public_html/linkruil/data/backup/"

The file and the fomder have permissions 777, so everything should be OK.
Can anyone tell me what is wrong?

What permissions does the data directory have?

Was the backup directory actually created?

If not, try create it manually, and rerun the installation.

I'll work out a solution on this, I have gotten some reports on errors with this.

You say that safemode should be turned on?
My guess id that it should be turned off if anything.
