Just make your "links" folder writeable. CHMOD 777 I had the same error and that worked.

Hi Ken.

The index page will make a few new folder when installing. To create these directories, LinkEX/the index files must be
able to write in the folder you are installing it into.
From your error message I can see that you are trying to install LinkEX into a folder called "links"
(/home/boitoi65/public_html/links)
Please try to chmod the links folder to 777 and see if that helps you any?

Hi, I've completed the install piece, but now I'm not sure where to put the "Include Code" code. I'm using
wordpress, so I'm sure I can do it from there. Can anyone give a novice a step by step approach as to where to put it.
Also, do I need to do anything with the "Template" code?

Thank you in advance
