Hiya,
When using the autoadd, if I insert a link to a site where I'm already linked, the status reports that the link already
exists, but STILL adds them to me and me to them.
I maintain a long list of sites and occasionally paste in the entire list (say ive updated it a bit) as I didn't realise
the script would keep re-adding ones Im already linked with.
I know this tool is BETA so thought I'd report this :)
p.s. my problem with all PR's coming back 0 is still not fixed....
Thanks

Hi Liam.
Thanks for letting me know about this. I'll have it fixed for the next release!
About the PR.I'm still looking into it. Can you please let me know if you're on a 32 or 64bit architecture? The PR will
not work on 64bit machines.

Hiya,
Yeah the server is 64bit (AMD X2 64 3800+ and runs CentOS 4.5 x86_64)
I did raise this in the GFY forum but was told the 64bit had nothing to do with it... guess now I know.
Any way of fixing this? Linkex is an awesome script, but I have noticed a few other minor differences between my sites
that I run off of a 32bit and the ones on the 64bit.
e.g. recip checks often fail on the 64bit (im checking between my own sites [32 site checking for link on 64 site] so I
know the recips are showing up...)
Im no coder so I don't really understand how the script is working underneath, so would the no 64bit support be a major
issue to fix, or is it fixable at all?
Im using linkex across about 8 sites and I really don't want to have to replace it, as it's the only one I could find
using an autoadd feature (which Im using EXTENSIVELY)
...if only you could get linkex > linkex trades to ignore captcha.... ;)
Thanks man

Well to get the pagerank from google, one need to send a "secret" cookie along. It's a piece of math with some
calculations based on the URL you need to fetch the PR on.
Since some pretty big numbers are being used these numbers will become larger that what a 32 bit integer can hold hence
overflowing. This gives one result where on 64bit machines it won't overflow, and give a different result.
I'm currently testing out a new function to calculate the cookie on a 64 bit machine, so it'll start working again soon!
:)
The failing recip is strange, since it should be the same.. Could be a bug or some settings being different?
The LinkEX <> LinkEX trade is something I'm also working on. Should be available soon!
Glad to hear the auto add is working and people using it! :) I'm using it myself, but wasn't sure if others took
advantage of it.
If you find any other scripts LinkEX should handle, let me know.
Stay tuned, and a new release will be out :)

Ahh thanks for the explanation... (runs off to code his own link trade script) hehe
Its good to hear you've got the solution in the pipeline. I guess I'll give linkex another month ;)
I double checked the settings, both sites are identical. It's usually solved if I just re-run the test. But I was
getting fails on other peoples sites too, so I visited manually and saw my link was still up.... But Im afraid I
couldn't provide any more specific details so I'll just learn to live with that one :)
tbh AXS and linkxxxchange are the only other scripts I've come across :) With the majority using linkex anyways.
Keep it up dude :)
